- Because we are better than they are and our kids, after enduring a lot of frustration have found out how to win and don’t want to go back to losing. They also want to secure a winning season, (which could still be lost if we lose this and the bowl game). 6-7 wouldn’t be the cure for 5-7.
- Ryan Nassib and his receivers, especially Alec Lemon, are carving up a lot better defenses than Temple’s. They will set some records tomorrow.
- Temple’s running attack is the straight-ahead type that our defense has been very good at stuffing. And they can’t beat us with their passing.
- Look at their scores. They crushed Villanova 41-10 and gave Penn State a good game, 13-24. But they lost to Maryland 27-36. Then they beat South Florida 37-28 and had to go to overtime to top Connecticut, 17-14. After that they fell apart losing to Rutgers 10-35, Pittsburgh 17-47, Louisville 17-45 and Cincinnati 10-34. Then came the big game vs. Army. But it was Army. We’ll beat these guys.
6-5 and strive for 2 more…
LET’S GO ORANGE!!!
