- Because it’s about time we beat somebody and beat somebody good. We’ve been so close, the dice can’t come up craps every time.
- Because if this team wants to continue to be coached by this staff, they need to win now and they know it, (just like USF and Virginia had to beat us).
- If Zack Mahoney can come out of the bullpen and play as he has, what might he accomplish with a week practicing as the #1 guy?
- Steve Ismael gets better every week. And Phillips and Estime remain dangerous.
- If we ran for 242 yards on Clemson, we should be able to do the same against NC State.
- Our defense and, especially the secondary grew up a lot last week. If they can hold Clemson to three field goals in the last 43 minutes, they can keep us in this game.
- We’ve been less than the sum of our parts. Time to improve the arithmetic.
