hard to tell what we have at wr when we only threw to Custis Butler and te pierce and rbs .. other wrs never got a chance to show what they could do .. maybe because they couldnt get open but seemed the qbs only looked at Butler and Custis

WR was my biggest concern. After 1 game, it still is. And that’s after Custus shocked me and played incredible! That the unit as a whole is still such a concern even with a great game from Custus, well that tells a lot.

I have hope for Johnson but I'm afraid Butler is what he is. Maybe not quite a bad as last night but not the answer to what we need by any means. Hope he proves me wrong. Custis sure did for one game at least.

We'll be fine. No need to overreact about Butler after one game. He showed us too much last year, and despite having a rough game yesterday he'll be a big contributor.

Was shocked to get that kind of production from Jamal, let's hope he stays healthy.

Yeah, I'm a bit puzzled why the WRs Babers has recruited have shown very little.

Time to get these young guys into the game. Riley and Butler provided nothing against a MAC team the competition will only get harder after this. They may show out against Wagner but that will be meaningless if they fold up against a team like WMU.

My guess is 4 different receivers will have 2 or more catches on Saturday. I wouldn’t put much stock into Wagner though
