This news will relieve Houston Cougar fans, many of whom seemed certain that Muschamp was one of two finalists to succeed Levine as HC. And that didn't make them happy at all. The UH fan forum crowd sounds a lot like guys on Syracusefan.com when it comes to hiring HC's from the defensive side.

Major college football is getting to be more and more like American politics. Dirty money (boosters) everywhere.

Maybe the NCAA should do something about limiting booster money? If they even could?
