Another defensive meathead who becomes a HC and forgets how to coach defense. Much of this can be attributed to the emergence of the spread offense. The SEC as a whole was a power league, power I, 3 yards and a cloud of dust for years. The SEC has come back to the pack as a whole, as a conference. Its great seeing SEC defenses get lit up the last few bowl seasons by today's modern offense from other conferences .Thats why Saban and the ultimate meathead, beilema went to the fb Powers trying to outlaw the hurry up spread. Even bama got lit up by Clemson last year. Yes bama is elite, but as for the rest of the SEC, the gap is closing.
