On Draftkings. +110/-140.
We should know if we're going over that number after the first week of the season. I would be very surprised if we aren't road dogs at Ohio. That might be the biggest game of Dino's tenure.
I came into the post thinking we’d be pegged last by the media, Vegas, other ACC coaches. That’s not a surprise. We stunk last year (the reasons matter - but the record remains). What I didn’t know or had given much thought to, was the rest of our division having mediocre expectations. It‘s probable that we get better and if the gap isnt crazy, we have a better shot at exceeding expectations.I don’t. It basically says we are going to be last in the ACC. I hope they are wrong. I can’t take another really bad season. My wife may have to talk me away from the ledge of the Bank of America building.
And doubled going into ClemsonWe’ll be at a push after week 3.
I prefer Kool AidCue the easy money posts. Fandom is a helluva drug.
Outside of Clemson, the rest of division is kind of weak. 6 for NC State? 6.5 for Wake and Louisville?
I feel better looking at this
Yup, the way I see it, our path to success is to schedule OOC such that 4 wins is a realistic possibility, and 3 is almost a given.Yeah our side of the Division is less scarier than it looked in 2016/17. We really need to start beating teams like Pitt/Louisville/NC State more frequently
Vegas also had the Knicks winning 22 games this year. They were only off by 19. Sometimes they miss. I'm taking the over.We all thought it was free money last year when it was 3.5. There’s a reason the Vegas lights never turn off.
but I will be betting the over lol
I’m with ya... I’m sending itVegas also had the Knicks winning 22 games this year. They were only off by 19. Sometimes they miss. I'm taking the over.
vegas doesnt care. obviously like in the knicks situation.. if they had a ton of people playing the over they would have moved the number higher. the same for SU.. if people start taking the over they will move it to 4-5.. if people dont take it then they dont care if su wins 4 or 11 it doesnt cost them any more money. if all the money is on one side they wont be leaving it at 3..Vegas also had the Knicks winning 22 games this year. Yep. Vegas always wins more than they lose. People forget that there are people that will take that under bet after our 1 win season (I'll be honest, I'm a little surprised it isn't set at 4 as a baseline, but whatever, the money may take it there).
Right - but they want action on both sides of the line. So it ends up being a pretty fair gauge.I'm not a gambler, aren't lines set to get people betting? In other words, Vegas is setting the line as a teaser not what they think a team will do.
