That entire post-game was so awkward, from premature Joey Chestnut, to Fran waving him away, to the nearly silent stadium, to the "allergic to eggs" statement (lie?), to Villari's NIL deal (for what? throwing egg nog?), to Meier's Creek getting national exposure. It was just...weird.
