We’ve 4-3 but are 60-65 in first down runs. That isn’t dominating. But 54-30 is. That was our rate of winning second down runs. I guess the greater threat of a pass after first down loosened up the defense. Where we are really doing well is on defense: 64-51 on first down runs. We’re also pretty good at stopping third and fourth down passes, 52-32. Those are two very good downs to dominate. If we keep up a ratio of 56 big plays to 41 we should do pretty well.
