On the another hand we did well on first and second down on defense, (30-19), which made the going tough for the Gophers. We gave up 30 yards on their first two first down passes, then 6 incompletions and two sacks. The lack of a healthy place-kicker was a disadvantage for us but they were the t4eam that went for 2 twice. There was one punt that did not go in favor of the punting team.
