The other two were the botched extra point vs. Colgate and a kickoff that wasn’t returned but we were offside so they put it on the 30 instead of the 25. We’ve had two dominating wins but are 21-25 in first down runs. That isn’t dominating. But 20-8 is. That was sour rate of winning second down runs. I guess the greater threat of a pass on second down loosened up the defense. Where we are really dominating is on defense: 27-7 on first down runs. We’re also pretty good at third down passes, 20-6. Those are two very good downs to dominate. If we keep up a ratio of 20 big plays to 7, nobody is beating us.
