Back to back elite eights for ND after going eleven years without getting out of the first weekend.

and they should have beaten UK last year. Probably one of the best games of last year's tourney.

I guess a saw something different. Looked like Hayes lost the ball on the trap. Then on the play at the end there was a little contact but Jackson I thought stole the ball. Wisc guy should have done a better job protecting the bal.

I think Wisconsin made some bad plays that allowed the game to come down to those calls/non-calls. Hayes was careless; the last inbound was atrocious (bringing the receiver back to the baseline); and the dribbler did keep the ball pretty far from his body (but I saw it as Jackson getting into his body and impeding him from maintaining his dribble).

Called strictly, those have to be fouls. Wisconsin melted down, though.

You have to wonder why the kid from Wisconsin tried to dribble through the double team... that was insanity. Where was the help? You have to have a better strategy for the inbounds play at t his point in the season. I mean really? And as far as Notre Dame being lucky... that's nonsense... you make your own luck. They put themselves in the position for good things to happen.

The fact that ND pulled it out was a result of a well coached group of kids who knew what to do at crunch time to secure the win. They were playing with passion and incredible intensity. Wiskey got out hustled and out played.
