Yes, we lost and it's frustrating but I wish I could have been there. I was in Syracuse for the first time in a year and passed by the dome on my way north. My mom died this past week and her funeral was during gametime due to scheduling issues with other family & funeral officials. I was unable to make it to the game though I was so close. Hope you appreciate being there even with the frustrating result. Would love to have joined you and still hope to get to a game somewhere.

Condolences to you and your entire family. Always good to have some perspective after a tough game.
My mom was 93 and lived a full fruitful life. Her passing was more a celebration of a good life as it was a sad parting. Life is as much about process as it is about result. If I can draw similarities with sports fanhood, enjoy the moments without overzealous concern about result. SU sports programs are healthy and vibrant, with wonderful camaraderie between fans and superb gatherings before and after each event. Enjoy those moments because the results rarely compare with the shared experience. Pardon my two cents, but I'm a tad philosophical today.

My Mom was 84 but nothing prepares you for the death of your mother. Condolences.

I lost my mom earlier this year. It's so true what they say about only having one mom. My condolences to you and your family.
