5 sacks last three gamesShould have made them sooner. How many sacks did we give up after the switch?
5 sacks last three games
180 yards today rushing, minus Adams.
261 vs Ville.
298 vs Duke.
Return 4 of 5 OL next year and 3 of 4 RB
I’m sure people will take this in a negative way but we are what our record is. I love that the OL is playing better and so hopefully that continues next year. Moe looked like a completely different RB and was great to watch.
But we are who we are. We had 10/100 penalties today and are one of the most penalized teams in the country. We forced a bunch of TO’s but it was somewhat negated by our own TO’s. We scored 3 times in a row unanswered and then fell apart.
We are incredibly inconsistent in so many areas and have been poor in a lot of other areas. 5 wins is where we are. There’s no guarantee with improved OL play we win 2 more games. Maybe we win 1 more and go to a bowl, that would be awesome. But there are so many reasons we won 5 games and not 6, not 7. We ended up exactly how the team looked on the field all year.
You lose to Maryland and BC by a combined score of 121-47 you get what you deserve. This team was completely awful for the first 9 games, made a nice run at the end to finish with momentum going into the offseason but the lack of passion, discipline and team leadership is what 2019 was all about. I am optimistic about next season, however
Bullshart fumble calls cost us two games against pitt the last two yearsThe do over was when SU DL stripped the ball from the Pitt guy. That was the single break they needed to have a shot at 6-6.
You could see V struggle with some snaps and look forward to him being the starter and solidifying the C position. I think waiting may have helped his confidence and was the right call.
The story of the seasonso frustrating. What could have been. The holes and push the last three weeks were So much better.

The story of the season
Middle of the road offense in ACC, both pass and rush Offense
Near the bottom defense in ACC, both pass and rush Defense
Great punt coverage team, poor kickoff return team, average punt return team
(Looking at ESPN stats)
These acc refs dgaf. They ref games like my mom cooks. No recipe or rules, just lazily tossing whatever in, did he go down at the 37 or 35, not sure let's just spot at the forty, round numbers are easier, whatevsDon’t forget that hideous 4th down spot from last year when they were clearly like a yard short.

No way. That is hilariousThe play-by-play charts on Cuse.com are an interesting read after games. They often show an offside penalty as 4 yards or holding as 11 yards because they note where the ball was actually placed down by the refs.

Seems like the fans can make a bigger deal about this and get it reversed. Twitter is a great medium for this kind of thing.
