With a limited budget, HC needs to be offensive guy

I know of a long-time experience college head coach who had some success in college building up a bottom-tier program, who went to the NFL and failed, and would love to probably get back into the college game and run a program again. And he probably would love to get into a major conference like the ACC and run a program there and he probably would be a realistic get for a school the size of SU if they offered him a fair contract, and he has ties to Florida and New Jersey and can recruit those regions of the country His name...Greg Schiano. Discuss

If we had any pride, and were willing to walk away from the program, you could have shut down all the boards after the 2007 season when we didn't make a move. That's probably the dumbest coaching decision the school has ever made and will ever make.

I could be a good QB coach if I had Marvin Graves and Donovon McNabb to coach and a D offense that fit those guys perfectly.

I think he and that offense would fit Hunt much better, but those days are over. Either physical or stress issues or both made him leave BC during the season and was a big reason why they imploded.

He's OC at his alma mater, they are doing well, he's over 60, it's time to move on.

He was at Navy when Philcox was here. P hired him when he took over. Bill Maxwell was the QB coach under Mac
