With win at Pitt

6-1 Syracuse hosting NC State with one loss is going to seriously be a candidate for College Gameday.
That game would be at worst a 3:30 kickoff we should get atleast 45k like we did in 2013 for the first ACC home game against Clemson and Shafer’s Meltdown towards Dabo.

If Florida beats LSU and Vandy the Gators game @UGA might take that spot, but ESPN tries to avoid CBS games for college gameday if they can. Besides that game not much else to compete with one loss SU and at most one loss NC St.

No chance. Have a losing record and we’ll struggle to break 20k on a 10 degree night
Hopefully, we'll never know but I've been surprised at how well they've drawn during the last few mediocre years.

ESPN will throw us a gameday bone if we're remotely in the conversation. Wildhack, plus the monster ratings the Clemson game got. People nationally LIKE Syracuse. I think the narrative of a northeastern team resurrecting itself is soo good for college football in general with the perception that it's a southern sport now.

UNC is homecoming.

NC St. is family weekend.

That should help.
Exactly - the special event stuff will skew the attendance number - as will the Friday night of Louisville. That said all remaining home games should be close to 40,000.

Right, but in my 31 years of watching basketball we’ve never had a less than stellar stretch like we’ve had in football. A “bad” year for basketball is 18 or 19 wins, which is fantastic for most programs but not ours. You have 14 years of 10-win seasons and we’re looking at 10,000 tonwatch a game.

Just booked early morning JetBlue flight and hotel for NC State. Unfortunately, the 20th isn't doable. Trying to get some friends to go so holding off on game tickets, but otherwise I put my money where my mouth is to support this team.

For those considering coming from out of town, if we beat pitt, a unc win would make us bowl eligible. That will be very satisfying. NCSt will be a bigger game and we both could be top 25, but that unc game will be significant.

Looking at chart right now the end zone seats seam to be moving, The 50$ and 110$ seats seam to be stagnant. (UNC)

NC State has potential to be 2 top 25 teams going at it in the dome. That has to be a big draw.

And don't forget that Wildhack has to be in the ears of his old colleagues at ESPN stumping hard for gameday. Texas at Ok State is the only other possibility I see that weekend.

The athletic dept. should set aside 5,000 tickets, and have a canned food drive. 2 cans for 1 ticket. Why let seats go to waste, and you'll also be doing something great for your community.

We need 40 plus for UNC and 45 for state.
Need to push.
( I'm bringing in about 15 extra for UNC)
Its not as hard a sell now.
Get it done !!!!!
Dino clearly mentioned it in presser.

We still have many holes in our defense. We need to score 40+ points in all our remaining games. Coaching is too conservative in 2nd half of Clemson game. If we were aggressive, we should have won that game. In basics, we need to score a lot of points to offset the points our defense gives away.

What's suddenly wrong with our defense that we'll only win by scoring 40+
The defense not stopping the run had waaay more to do with our offenses inability to move the ball. When you're on the field for nearly the entire half, you're going to start missing plays. Our defense has been, and will be fine.

I don’t want to sound like a jerk here but, C’mon man!!! If we scored 28 on Saturday we beat the toughest team on our schedule at their house which is one of the toughest stadiums to play in nationally. Our D is fine.

Yeah, our D has been solid in all but 2 quarters (3rd quarter of WMU and 4th quarter of Clemson). In their defense, there aren't many defenses that can stop Etienne for four quarters.

If SU put together some losing seasons we’d have to put a tarp in 311 heaven.

Home Coming is pushing end zone seats. Could be why.
