After downing C 2 Kooper's 10-8 in a semifinal overtime battle, CyberCore Technologies upset the top seed Salty Balty 9-8 in the women's elite division on the final day of the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic. Tied with only a few seconds remaining on the clock, Team USA's Alyssa Murray dished a pass inside to former Syracuse teammate Natalie Glanell, who scored the winning goal.
"It was a lot of fun," said Murray, a 2014 Tewaaraton finalist and MVP of the classic. "It's like the Lake Placid environment, but a little bit different because it's the beach. What's nice about these summer tournaments is that we have friends on a lot of the teams. It's laid back but also some good competition at the same time."
