Was hoping both would have been given an opportunity at the next level. I know Ravian had a minicamp shot with Cleveland, but haven't seen a word on R.G. who played his heart out, and is one of the toughest dudes I've had the pleasure to follow.

Ryan Guthrie's "Whit's Up" interview was one of my favorites. Sounded like a pretty cool kid from Georgia...loved classic rock, favorite bands were "The Band", Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones...I'm betting no skinny jeans in that dudes closet :)

obviously his parents brought him up right.

I honestly find it sort of encouraging that neither of the starting linebackers from last year who graduated (Guthrie & Whitner) have been signed by an NFL team. It gives me more hope that new guys can step in and produce at similar levels.

On the other hand it’s harder to get those next level guys without some success at the upper level

There is no doubt you are correct. Idk, I just look at the fact that we went 10-3 with a senior class that included a back of the seventh round pick, a handful of UDFA's and several guys who didn't even get a sniff at the NFL, and it makes me optimistic for what Dino can do when we actually have NFL caliber talent graduating.
