No PI on throw to broyld ing unbelieveable

They certainly have done us no favors during league play and yet I find them more tolerable than Big East officials

... at least until hoops season

Yup...really bogus. He was tackled before the ball arrived. These ACC refs really blow...I hope it gets better

But on the flipside...we got a huge favor on a spot on a 3rd down rush by Hunt that looked 2 feet short.

I think every big east official would have thrown a flag on the play

That call was a huge What...the ref was right there in position to see it all go down. You can't really miss it, he was there ridiculously early.
Oh well, we won. We got a couple call too.

the key is the replay dude can fix the spot issues.. I'm convinced the replay guy is playing xbox and only looks up when the crowd goes crazy. they dont review so many bad calls there has to be a reason.

they reviewed the West td but got the spot wrong, they reviewed the desir fumble and took 3-4 min when it should have taken 10-15 secs

maybe they need more than 1 guy in that booth so they think of what to look for.. the miami/fsu game messed up a review for a TD as well.

at least a line judge called a holding yesterday cause the head ref sure had a hard time seeing them , the one he missed was so bad even the Tv guys called it out and he never threw a flag, lucky the dude 30 yds away saw it.

all refs suck-

but it does look like they dont want a first year team to win with some blatant no calls

Give that ref some credit, he missed another PI as well. HCSS let him know about that one too.

We've gotten hosed plenty of times in the past...when Cincy was making their run the refs flipped the field against us a few times, I am sure Mike T was happy for that.

Broyld would've helped his cause had he made a play on the ball instead of waiting there flat footed.

Worse than our phantom XP last year?

Broyld would have needed a rocket up his a$$ to make a play on that before he was tackled.

That was a blown call but I didn't think the refs had it in for us yesterday.

The GT game, I was starting to wonder. I guess it's one of those games where it's such a blowout but even in the first half with the chop block, blow to the head, punt interference, some real unfair stuff. Couldn't even imagine the discussion in the ref review session, if the league even does that each week, who knows.

Lol. Well that's one way to look at it I guess.

hard to make aplay on the ball when your being driven into the third row

The problem I have it that him not being aggressive is commonplace.

The head official looked like he woke up from a nap.

Your right AB often doesnt and seems to hear footsteps, I just didnt think that was the case on that play.

I give Broyld a little leeway on the finer points of the receiving game due to his history as a QB and not a receiver. He is taking everything in stride and doing good overall. Too many kids would walk away and he is sticking with us giving us a great athlete so we have to give him time to become what he can be. Just an opinion. And I would be upset if this was his senior year and he does the same, so I fully understand your point and agree with the overall intent in general.
