Not to get overly dramatic, because Pitt isn't doing so well lately either, but it's still on the road and they have beaten us 6 straight times.

How much do we wish we had that Rutgers game back ? I called it at the time. That was a huge game to let slip away.

Miracle? No. But it's been awhile since I didn't believe that we could win the game. Even when I knew we wouldn't win I always convinced myself that we had a shot. Saturday I'm going in knowing we will lose.

Yes, and Marrone should be named a Servant of God on his way to Canonization if we win on Saturday. I'm an atheist so I think this game will be out of reach by halftime.

Hope for the best...Expect the worst

My attitude from about the middle of the season on with this group and coaching staff

Since we're only 11 point dogs, it's not a huge upset at all, let alone a Miracle. That being said, I think we get Laurie fine slam pig pounded

No miracle needed.

Play hard, no mistakes, control the ball and tackle well.

We win.

I would say a minor miracle and there in lies the problem, Pitt is 5-6 and very mediocre, yet it will take a monster effort by Syracuse to keep it close, what does that tell you? It tells me, we still suck and suck bad

I'm talking more about the way the team seems to be laying down these past couple weeks, after those comments got out into the press about factions on the team. It seems pretty obvious to me that this season is lost - that's how it feels.

I really had hoped we weren't going to miss out on a bowl, but the offense's inability to just FUNCTION is a huge disappointment, as is the total lack of awareness of special teams. I mean, every year we've not just been average, but we've SUCKED on special teams. And that used to be a strength of this program. All we had to do was be a middle-of-the-pack Big East team, go .500 and go bowling again. But we are still not competitive in our own league, after 3 years. This is a huge let-down, and Marrone's teams have started fast and faded in all 3 years now.

They MUST win this game against Pitt and I really feel like they've got no shot.

It tells me that we have fallen under some tough times... but on the other side of the coin... we had as many wins a month ago that Pitt has now and could turn it around just as quickly as we lost it. It all just depends what the team feels at the moment. Are they fighters looking to take advantage of a season that can still contain its share of positives? Or are they a sad, split unit that wants nothing more than to "just wait til next year."

If im Doug and i feel as if certain guys have quit i replace them. One player who is either hurt or seems to be off his game not saying quit but off his game is Shamarko.

Damit doug, put Kinder in there for some read option, just for a series. One series, want to see what the kid can do.

Shamarko must be hurt, he simply isn't the player he was last year or the first few games, he use to be great defending the run, so many 1 on 1 tackles.

I think Nassib has quit, replace him!!!!

The only glimmer of hope I have is this - every time I have been convinced that Marrone has no answers he has shown otherwise. Logically I am convinced he has no answers for Saturday's game, therefore he will show otherwise and we will win.

Relying on God and logical rationalism to pump me up for Sunday is not going to work ...

It will probably be a miracle on paper on why we would win and we are on a four game losing streak. We are absolutely due for a win right now and some how a miracle will happen tomorrow and we go bowling like we should. Going from 5-2 to 5-7 just can't happen.

Not a miracle but an over the top effort from a team that has underperfromed in 6 of it's last 7 games. I'd say the probablity of a loss is pretty high.

the best outcome- a moral victory:bang:

our defense wont stop the run and the pitt defense wont even have to take the field to disrupt the "dead horse" offense we run

We will win this game on Saturday just watch and if not I will go rake leaves again as a punishment to myself for being a homer

A miracle would be syracuse not tripping over its own feet again. No stupid penalties, no giving up big plays on special teams, no dropped passes and we win.

was it a miracle when we dismantled WVU? No, it was us playing they way we are capable when we remain focused.

Not a miracle at all. Pitt isn't that good either. I'm not saying I expect to win, but it's not that far-fetched either.

Agree about rutgers. It always seems like things such as that come back to bite you later
