I don't see why not, he's never been a head coach before, but you're right in that he might get peeved from such a younger coordinator being selected over him.

I think it's a moot point anyway, as I'm guessing at least one of the two will go with Marrone (if he goes).

Possibly - he has said he wants to see his kids finish school.

I would think a pay raise would help too.
