I've attended one NBA game. It was a Pacer's game at Indiana in the early 2000's when they were pretty good, and it was so boring. Absolutely no atmosphere. You know a sport has a problem when they have to continuously pipe in music during game play and the PA guy is constantly encouraging the crowd to "make some noise". It's as if the game isn't enough to entertain the crowd

The National Title Game - even if it is lower quality basketball - the drama and tension at the event will still be high amongst the fans that attend so it should be a fairly good spectacle to watch for the first time
