would you take 36% from three

small sample size, of course, but you can't help but notice the change in Joseph's offensive approach.

I did it for three games because that is where the obvious change occurred - it looks like Kaleb has been given something of a green light. From three total attempts through the first 6 games to average 4 attempts per game over the last three. and, lo and behold, with the other guard taking deep shots, suddenly Trevor's percentage perks up.

and to repeat - small sample size - no guarantee this maintains

Didn't they mention during the game yesterday that part of the reason JB benched Kaleb the game before was because he felt KJ had no idea what a good shot even looked like?

Ummm...yes! Last week or so I compiled SU's 3 pt percentages over the last ten years. We seemed to have averaged around 34%. So 36% would actually be very good.

True, but that's 36% just from 2 players. (including Cooney, who you would figure to be our best shooter) Presumably the other guys would be shooting below that and would bring the average way down.

Exactly. We're not last in the NCAA's because of TC. Our perimeter problems are all across the back line (1, 2 and 3). As a result, Defenses are taking their chances with the other guys and face-guarding Trevor (nothing new there). This is going to continue until someone else steps up.
