Given our lack of quality WR play, I'm a little surprised that he wasn't able to contribute in some capacity. I 100% acknowledge that he was limited, but he was a former starter -- so I'm surprised he couldn't even crack the two-deep this year and contribute as a platoon receiver, in a year when we were desperate to have some complimentary WRs show something / anything.

But all the best to him. This opens up a scholarship [good for us] and enables him to seek an opportunity where he can get back on the field [good for him]. Win-win.

Particularly given the issue we had with hands. Over his career he demonstrated having the best hands and was a good blocker. It was a little peculiar he never even stepped on the field this season. Real bummer. His Mom was a big Syracuse cheerleader over his time here.

He‘s had three appearances, and that looks like by plan.

I thought I remembered him having a bunch of drops. Seemed like a great team player. Just lacked that something to keep him on the field in front of other guys.
