He also pulled a link to an article he wrote on Garrett where he had glowing praise for him, back just after he had visited RU and had said some fairly positive comments about them.

87 does not reflect his offer list. Medley is also rated with an 87 and he has offers from Ped State and Michigan, among others. Pathetic.

Oh yes, Garrett looks like another terrific WR prospect. Physically, tough, can make catches with someone in his face. But he is already 6’3 196. And it appears he is elite speed as well. The talent upgrades continue.

I actually think 87 does reflect his offer list (peer schools). 87 is mid to middle/high 3 star, it's a solid rating. The only guys we've had well above that were Gillians (89), Samuels (90), and King (90) who we had to wrestle away from really big time programs, rather than peer schools.

When the program was really rolling in the 90s the roster was mostly mid to mid high 3 stars with some 4 stars sprinkled in, pretty similar to what Fran is currently doing.
