First, the idea of locking the thread is ridiculous. A top flight kid is making his decision and we are involved. Heaven forbid we talk about it because we might be disappointed. To top that off, that if the information someone is giving, turns out not to be incorrect, they are setting themselves up to be hanged. Nothing says share information if you get it better than that.

The one thing I find weird is how active Calvin was talking about coach Fran the past 8 months and Cuse. You don’t official visit every other school in your top 8 besides one for no reason. I mean this is a huge deal for Syracuse if they win this recruitment, everyone should know that. If there was ever a case of some misdirection happening, it would be for our first 5 star recruit in decades. I have confidence from the insiders confidence here and quite frankly is being confirmed even more by Wiltfong today by not listing us. He listed 5 schools a week out, that is a lot at this stage. Look maybe we hear more from Wiltfong in the next week with an actual prediction. But if this is some plan to generate huge buzz, the fact that Wiltfong didn’t make a projection yet, keeps that hope alive that this could actually be happening. If it doesn’t, oh well, it’s college football, recruiting wins and losses is apart of the game and fun of following and being a fan of the sport.

Just remember that even if he doesn’t say Syracuse on 7/5/2025. There is a complete football season between then and signing day. There is more overall talent, a lot of it young on this team then any going back to the late 1990's. This coaching staff learned a lot last year,
Young talent can grow up fast, and as much as people loved the offense. Point wise it wasn't good too many missed opportunities.
Instances where we missed field goals or settled for them.
The defense really didn't give up a lot of points except Pittsburgh, and that wasn't their fault.
That's why I believe we can win 9 or 10 games. If we score more efficiently, and the defense, and coaching gets better we will shock the nation.
