Class of 2024 WR Elijah Moore (MD) TRANSFERRING TO SYRACUSE (1/9/26)

Castellanos only had 80 more completions than Angeli and he played 8.5 more games so much like our wideout numbers - they probably aren’t their fault
I’d like to add to this post to emphasize this point:

Rickie Collins/Joe Filardi averaged more completions per game from the Duke game on than Castellanos did this season at Florida State.

FSU believed Moore’s upside was equal to or higher than just about any of their receivers long term. Legit NFL talent but hasn’t been able to put it together. As mentioned above has been behind Duce Robinson which has limited his playing time to some extent but also didn’t perform as well as they would have liked. High ceiling low floor guy. He needs to get stronger and more physical from what I’ve read but excellent pickup.

We are really getting some big athletic bodies at receiver. Then we have some small, quick, fast receivers. We really have nothing in between lol
BJ Garrett the true freshman coming in from DE

On3/Rivals rated him in the top 100 players in the class of 2024. He is one of the most highly rated players in Syracuse history.

Very exciting pick up.
I’m liking the mix of producers with hope to translate to P4 and high ceiling types waiting for their opportunity players they are bringing in.

We might get much better WR blocking with this new crew, it really limited some of the screen game and the ability to get RBs to the corner.
miller from jacksonville st has quick burst and acceleration.

as does boobie

you could mix several screen packages for them and have weav smith hatcher & moore blocking for them to possibly break off a td

the possibilities…
