Class of 2025 WR Michael Thomas III (NJ) Verbal to Rutgers

His PR in the 100m is 10.76. Also as long jumped over 21 feet.

Listed at 6'2 185.

He has to be a top 10 player in NJ.
I think you might have the wrong guy. Thomas is 5-10.

Tom's reference might be Thomas' X page, where it says:
Michael Thomas III @DCFutureMT3 ’25 WR | 6’2 – 185LBS | Donovan Catholic Griffins – [etc]
Yup, that is where I saw it.

I think Coach Fran is about 6'0 and it looks like Mike is about 2 inches taller in the picture above, so I think he might actually be 6'2.

For the record, 247's profile for him has him at 5'10. On3 has him at 5'11 and Rivals has him at 6'1. Maybe he had a growth spurt recently?

If you look at the film of him running the 100m just above, he looks like a big dude. There is no way he is 5'10 these days.

Damn. Really wanted this kid. Do we think we're actually all full at the moment? Trust Fran but I'm not a huge fan of having no more spots this early. Not that I'm not happy with the players we've gotten, I am

We have to be close to full. Looks like the goal of 2025 was to fill it early, especially with northeast kids, and to take on development guys with raw athletic talent in some cases. The focus is shifting to 2026 and maybe attention on some more well-known "blue chip" types.

We still need to pick up those DTs that are in on us.

After another 4 or 5 win season they may change their mind before signing. Fran had a lot of flips before signing.
Normally you’re right but Rut has something like the 3rd easiest schedule in nation this year.
We have the easiest but they should be able to get back to a bowl game.

out of 134 teams, Cuse has the 63rd hardest schedule...and Rutgers and the big bad BIG...65th.

So all of those posters (them not us) saying the only reason we will have a bowl-type season is because of our schedule...doesnt add up.
