I also don't think he loses minimal talent to the portal, has success bringing in recruits (the 2026 class is our highest rated in a while with no help from St. Petro) and brings in talent from the portal as well, if the vibe that parents and kids get from him is that he's an apathetic figurehead. First final four in 12 years and people think it could have been done without the head coach. I think you have to step back and think about all the years of failure we have had in this spot, often with stacked teams full of promise. Nobody knows what goes on behind the scenes.
