Can somebody who knows more than me explain why we would want UConn to win? UConn and Temple are both on the bubble so wouldn't it be fine if either of them took the auto-bid over Memphis/Tulane?

UConn is in more solidly than Temple. They probaby (but not certainly) stay in with this loss, and Temple I think is certainly out with a loss. It's about keeping the AAC to 2 teams instead of 3 teams.

I guess in the end. UConn could fall out with a loss. It will be an interesting comparison of resumes between us and them if they lose today.

UConn staying in the top 50 rpi wise gives us an extra top 50 win as well. Plus UConn winning keeps our rpi creeping down lower.

Probably rather have Tulane win tonight. Who knows how much UConn has left in the tank for tomorrow -- but Memphis is talented enough that if UConn is tired the Huskies could lose. Tulane just isn't good and UConn should be able to handle them regardless.
