...the work of 40 years based on one half-season or one game.

But something important happened tonight.

It's hard to look uncoached 2 years in a row against Chris Mullin. And we have now lost to Georgetown, UConn and St John's in one season, 2 on our home court and this one a massacre.

Time to consider whether real change is needed, and what that might entail.

It's not just one half season. It's the last few regular seasons. The FF just was lipstick on a pig. An anomaly. We've been fairly average for a while.

Yes. Change needs to be made and a national search should be imminent for our head coach. I care about our student athletes far more than our coach. They look completely disinterested and literally quit. I won't even complain about Xs and Os after tonight. This team has far worse and bigger problems than that.

0-5 against non-conference power programs for the first time ever.

:vomit:

And haven't won an ACC tournament game yet. Last year's FF was a lark.

I once worked for a man who was the most talented, most intelligent person i've ever known. He was tremendously accomplished from the 1950s through the 90s. And, then around age 65, he started taking naps in his office every afternoon. And rationalizing not going out to try to get new business. Et cetera, et cetera. All good things come to an end. No one beats age. Even the most ardent supporter has to acknowledge any career has a peak and ends in a downward trajectory. Unless you're David Ortiz.

I do that in my 30s. Damnit....

51-38 in the last 89 games the Orange are. Thats including 3 Colegates, 2 Cornell's, 2 or 3 Eastern Michigan's, and other cupcakes. Time to face the facts, Boeheim and his team haven't been good for 3+ seasons. One final thing I will say is I know people will talk about the final four, but you have to look past that. The tournament is made for underdogs like that, you get a few good matches and all of the sudden you can make a strong run. What has really been going on for three season is some terrible basketball, and in my opinion, that falls on our head coach.

I've literally woken myself up due to a loud snore several times.

The snore has gotten me, but it's usually my assistant not answering the phone quick enough and it rings too many times.

I'm reminded of the bumper sticker that reads, "Get in. Sit down. Shut up. Hold on." I think we have a rough ride ahead of us. Time to temper some of our expectations. It's going to be important to figure out if we're really Syracuse fans, or just fans as long as we're winning.

But as always, Go Orange. :)

You worked for Ronald Reagan?

I dont think Reagan was ever known as being particularly intelligent, even by his supporters, he was more of a master of communication
