Imagine our record with a crowd like other teams have! That crowd was RAUCOUS!! Really think it took out Gillon and others as well with the airball chants, regardless of what they or others on hear claim. That crowd won the game for Tech!!!(and Lammers season high or whatever...like we tend to give about every other game)

It's tough when the arena is so big and most of the people are so far from the court.

Thompson legitimately ran away from the guy cutting on an under the basket inbounds play. Like...he ran across the lane to where we already had a defender and left a huge area under the basket wide open that a guy happened to be cutting to. Flat out incompetent.

Unless Thompson gets a clue on how to play some decent defense occasionally, I really wonder how far we can go beyond this game.

Point taken. But Roberson has not done well either and when he is on the court it is 4 on 5 on offense. Everything considered, up 12 at the half with Heath with 3 fouls and Okogie with 2 -- I'll take it. Lydon playing well on defense. Keep Jackson from going wild and it will be looking good.

Yeah, but with the way we're shooting the ball we are scoring enough. And Roberson is much more trustworthy defensively.

Playing with a lead...you can't give the other team easy hoops, can't take stupid shots, and can't turn the ball over. I think Roberson is the safer bet here as long as we keep scoring at a reasonable rate.

Ehh, I'd rather have UVA personally. Miami is a scary team, they can score. UVA we have a shot regardless of how our offense plays because they don't score very well.

Agreed. The location of the student section is far from ideal, especially compared to most of the teams we play where they are usually right on top of the court.

As discussed on here ad nauseum, those seats are reserved for the well-heeled old people who give ample cash to fuel this monster. Cash is still king at the Cuse, where they apparently couldnt care less about the team winning if it costs them money. Anyone disagree!?!?

Absolutely, and those old timers are important. Atmosphere suffers because of it, but what can you do?
