Look this is a tough situation. We as fans are emotionally and financially invested in “our” players. So when someone is out for an unknown reason it’s perfectly normal to want to know the deal.
We’ve all been frustrated by the endless waiting for him to return after a lot of hype so it’s not unreasonable to expect answers to glaring questions.
At the same time we want to respect our players and program. But these days NCAA kids are paid professionals blurring the lines even more.

While I personally would love to know What when down with Zeed the bigger me wants to respect his privacy - but I admit that’s not easy to do.

Great post. And just to be clear I never was calling for anyone to release more info on the kid. My initial post eons ago was really about how society especially in the social media age tends to play mad libs with their own facts when there are gaps in info. I do PR. We intentionally work to prevent this. But the argument went sideways and I got frustrated and basically threw a text tantrum.

I was reading a DO article linked to another thread (why the football GM left) and in that article was a link to one about the 4x100 track team. It suggested they have a real and likely potential to break the SU 4x100 record. In the article it said they needed time to gel as they came together late, and included this bit:

Initially, Nmah wasn’t supposed to be part of their relay team. The original fourth member, who James said was going to run the anchor leg, left SU for undisclosed reasons.

Seems Zeed was also going to run track.

Good question. Could be I am misinterpreting it. I just figured someone that fast not with the Spring Track team at what seems like the last minute was enough for me to draw the conclusion.
