Exactly what you said, but I believe Red means it when he talks about what he wants to create. If you aren't known for something, then you have nothing.

Red talks at length about Team and Culture. He's not talking about just grabbing the first big guy or point guard that had a good year this year. Those types of basic foundation for what he wants to do don't come overnight.

Q can score, but he trades off a lot of his points by not valuing the ball. He can make more mistakes that cost the team than anyone else and just keeps on doing it instead of calming down and making the good plays he is capable of.

Do you want 8 minutes of Taylor making few mistakes or Q starting and having two fouls in the first 8 minutes.

Lefty was a great coach from an era where coaches were not afraid to show how they felt about anything that happened in a game. ACC and Big East had some of the most dramatic ones.
