Class of 2016 ATH Moe Neal (NC) SIGNED LOI/ENROLLED

*For now (As in...it'll be interesting to see what they do if/when we land him)

Yep. Back down. The Syracuse penalty.

If Moe commits are we a serious player to flip Colon or Mayden, or have those ships sailed?

I'd imagine our chances with colon go up big time, but prying him off PSU will take a lot of work by Neal and RW. Mayden is only an option if we get all 3 and then it would take some form of a miracle to get us back in the game for him.

Sailed in my opinion.

Stranger things have happened but I'd have to agree that I don't think Mayden's in the picture. Colon though seems like a legit shot though even though Ped State seemed to be the leader the whole time.

I remain skeptical but thats encouraging for sure. I think we'd be messing up not putting a press on eason as well. Relieve some return pressure off estime/erv and whoever else may be relied upon on special teams.

Your opinion is wrong about one of those two. I'm sure you can guess which one.

Not saying it's likely...but the ship certainly hasn't sailed...IF we can land Moe. If we land Moe and find a spot for Will Eason somehow? Game on.
I get that this year we feel a scholly crunch, but damnit all we need a return specialist and Eason can certainly be that guy. If we happen to hear about another departure before this cycle is over, I fully expect a guy like Eason to get that additional unaccounted for slot.

Here's my reasoning for why I want Eason, in addition to solidifying some things with Team Washington: we give scholarships to long snappers. Why can't we give a scholarship to a return specialist? Dude runs a 4.38, you can find a spot for him.

Estime, Erv, Stubbs, maybe even Neal. I'm set with offering Eason. We need some legit size at cb
