It's obviously nonsensical to announce that you are giving up on Syracuse football just because the new hire isn't the type of guy you wanted.

But I would like a reporter at the introductory press conference to ask Shafer why he thinks Ash will be a be a better coach than Shafer.

With the right OC, Ash will do well. Think the AD knows more about the right candidate than all the experts on this site and that includes me. Everyone chill for the Cuse will rise again in football.
