Heading to Nashville in October and we were thinking of stopping in Louisville on the way to tour some bourbon distilleries. Any suggestions?

If you want to go to Buffalo Trace, it is in Frankfort which is near Lexington vs. Louisville as is Woodford.
I went to Bardstown and Heaven Hill which are both in Bardstown (30-40 minutes outside of Louisville) and both were good. Angels Envy is right in downtown Louisville and is also good. Lots of good options in Louisville but my wife was bourboned out after all the tastings in Bardstown and Lexington so I can’t be more help. Four Roses was not as good IMO and is also closer to Lexington.
I’d get a reservation for any tour that you’re interested in as they will fill up - especially Buffalo Trace which needs to be made a month or so in advance of the date you want to go.
