Listen when it comes to these big prospects like this, I can assure you Red is going after them along with the assistants. This is so far the opposite of when cuse would offer someone like this, JB would talk to them months in recruitment, make assts do everything and expect to land the kid bc SU has/had “a legendary coach”. Red is going to flourish in recruiting and everyone should know he will not back down to any school no matter who offers

Certainly need to get a visit to have a chance here. Will be a crowded bigs room for the class of 24, potentially. But I do think you plan your roster year by year now, and he seems like one who is going to get minutes from the start. Attrition will occur based on the way the current guys develop. There’s a young man at my alma mater - as a frosh got high major offers - who I’m excited about and I can assure you wants to get after this guy. My school plays in Paul VI’s division, would be a matchup in the state playoffs.

I’m already pitching him cuse - in his words has said it would be a W.

He was also 1st Team for Session 4.

He has already gone to Kansas State and Providence.

He recently mentioned taking a trip to Iowa in the fall and setting one up with Virginia.

Agreed on the TTO connections with our HC, and assistant coach, some current players and Donnie.

One of his other current teammates, Darren Harris, is a Dook commit.

Have to rely on coach’s talent evaluation of current bigs and his plans on how he wants to play in the future. He may like what he has and will be looking at more PF types with traditional bigs to play as specialists for pressure, etc.

Well that's a bummer.. especially when it's Duke/UConn on that visit list. Lesser of two evils hoping he chooses Duke if it's down to those two.

Definitely UConn’s top front court target as someone who fits the Sanogo profile. He’ll pair really well with a long, athletic Singare. I wouldn’t expect his recruitment to get much past those two visits.
