Thamel has never had a problem commenting on rumors that involve ESPN employees in the past.

While he’s been at ESPN? I’m not sure. He’s only been there 3-4 years. It does seem like a reasonable policy however - to prohibit commenting on a co-worker.

If mullen wasn’t here on Wednesday all the ESPN trolling makes sense. I think we are screwed and this is going to be a pull and pray hire not wanting to spend the money that’s needed.

We don't know that. None of the jobs have been filled with any of our candidates. Besides, they seem to be working efficiently. Mid-week is when to get nervous IMO.

He's been with ESPN less than two years. He was hired in 2022. Whether it's an ESPN policy or not it just may be as a courtesy to someone he works with. Maybe he has an agreement to get the scoop when it's done, either from Mullen or Wildhack.
