Dungey Injured?

Yeah me too, finally got to watch the game last night (thanks Godcuseteam!), and I didn't like the nature of the hits he took.

Hopefully it's just bumps and bruises type thing (though I'd have a hard time seeing how that would keep him out) and not what he dealt with last year that I was told here often he wasn't dealing with but turns out he was dealing with...:noidea:

If he is injured, I think it is a hand issue.

I guess that explains why Dungey seemed to make a lot of throws against UConn that were duds -- uncharacteristic of him when healthy.

Huh? UConn was easily his best throwing day of the year and I'm not talking about stats. Aside from a couple of bad throws in the 2nd and 3rd, he threw a harder and more accurate ball than he has all year.

He got hammered in the end zone on that last big gain to Etta-Tawo in the 4th. If there's an injury, that could be it.

Judging by the way the Irish have played defense so far, I'd guess this is a lost cause since they don't appear to believe in game prep.

The first long TD was not a good pass, way under thrown but it worked out.. I think if you were grading him, his deep throws would have been a B but it worked out fine since Tawo was so wide open. The long one Tawo dropped was also under thrown as were 3-4 other deep balls. he threw some nice ones too and a few that fluttered. the screen was a bad throw, as were 2-3 over the middle though those seemed like read mistakes by the WR or the QB. I thought his best throws were the short outs and 2-3 other deep middle throws.
