That might be the case, but also LSU doesn’t F around. It’s a top five gig. Eddie was never the real choice of the decision makers but he won the chip, so had to let him play it out.

Guessing they are going to go after every big name and just get a top choice.

You can argue that it could be the best job in America considering both Ed and Les Miles won championships there and neither are exactly giants of coaching.
