Welcome to National Pink Day!

It's National Pink Day, a day where everything should be basking in pink splendor!

It's especially a day for the ladies, as pink is a girl's favorite color. Guys, you can participate inNational Pink Day, too. Just get in touch with your feminine side, and display a dash of pink. Note: the girls will love you for it!

It's easy to enjoy and to participate in National Pink Day. Bring your pink elephant out of hiding. Wear pink, and show off everything you have that's pink, from clothing and shoes to other possessions. Be creative. Use food coloring to make pink meals. Pink frosting on a cake or cookies will be a big hit today.

The 8 top NBA pipelines in college basketball (PS; photo gallery; Staff)

4. Syracuse

Sometimes lost in the noise over whether players should stay or leave is the face that Syracuse has become one of the best developers of NBA talent in the country. The Orange has had a player selected (and a first round pick) in each of the past four seasons, averaging 2 picks per year over that span. Malachi Richardson and Mike Gbinije expect to hear their names called in 2016.

Syracuse guard Malachi Richardson is made for today’s NBA (the juice; Goodman)

After I watched that Epic NBA Finals Game 7 which gave Cleveland its first NBA Championship, I was left with two thoughts: 1. LeBron James is a Top-5 All-Timer now, and 2. Malachi Richardson is the perfect combo guard for today’s NBA game.

The NBA is a guard’s league now. The two best teams in the league played long, crucial portions of Game 7 with 6-foot-9 James as the tallest player on the court. The big man isn’t dead, but he’s on life support.

Shooting and ball movement are the modern-day recipe for success. Even Cleveland, who deals in hero ball more than almost any other team in the league, needed timely three’s from JR Smith off of penetration and kick-outs to seal the deal. Cleveland’s win may have momentarily negated the trend the Spurs started and Golden State ran with, but teams aren’t going to dismiss the 73-win Warriors success so quickly. Small ball is here to stay for a while.

Syracuse Just Isn't Producing Much (Great) NBA Talent - Today's U (today's U Sports; Holcomb)

Let’s face it, as much as the NCAA likes to shove it down fan’s throats, most college basketball players at high-profile schools such as Duke, Kentucky, Kansas and many others, don’t consider themselves student athletes.

If not for the NBA rule that states potential draft picks must be at least one year removed from high school, most of these stars wouldn’t even be in college.

The NBA implemented that rule before the 2006 draft and as a result, created the phrase “one and done”. The top talent coming out of high school all became “one and done” players thus using their college team as just a stepping stone to get to the next level.

Initially, it was believed these players would hurt schools like Kentucky and Duke, but it’s actually had the opposite effect. Those programs have become so good at turning out NBA stars and flipping their rosters on a yearly basis, they are always in the hunt for a National Championship.

It’s schools like Syracuse that have a greater potential to suffer.

Malachi Richardson was a star at Roselle Catholic, and he was a star at Trenton Catholic. So it was no surprise that he was then a star at Syracuse. On Thursday, we'll find out where he will try to be star in the NBA.

A projected first-round pick in Thursday's 2016 NBA Draft, Richardson talked about the process as well as how playing in New Jersey prepared him for the next level at media day on Wednesday. Check out his interview in the video above.

Richardson, who won the Tournament of Champions with Roselle Catholic as a sophomore before being named a McDonald's All-American as a senior at Trenton Catholic averaged 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as he started in all 37 contests as a freshman for Syracuse. He garnered national attention by scoring 21 points in the second half against Virginia in the Elite Eight to help punch the Orange's ticket to the Final Four in Houston.

Dave Matthews leads 2.5-hour scream-along at Lakeview Amphitheater (review) (PS; Tulloch)

In one of the biggest Syracuse concerts of the summer, bothDave Matthews Band andLakeview Amphitheater had a lot to prove on Wednesday night, at the new venue's first sold-out show.

The weekday concert drew 17,500 superfans, and it felt and sounded like every one of them knew the words to DMB's entire set. To call the concert a sing-along, however, wouldn't be accurate. These people were screaming.

Grown adults howled the lyrics to "Don't Drink the Water" and "Grey Street" like they were losing their damn minds. Buttoned-up gents eagerly shrieked cheers every time Dave mumbled into the mic.
