Per twitter: The Syracuse at Virginia game has been moved to Sunday at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

College kids can do a back to back since its only a 40 minute game. Since our next game is Thursday it won't hurt us as much. Sucks for the people traveling to the game.

I am just a bit embarrassed that a game that Syracuse is involved in was postponed because of snow.;)

I was half expecting Cuse to step up and bring a cavalcade of snowplows and offer to plow out all of Charlottesville, or at least offer to have the Hulk shovel them out.....#the_game_must_go_on

UVA at Wake Forest has been moved from Monday to Tuesday.

Was that the scheduled ESPN Big Monday game or the ESPN U 9pm game?

Thought I read it was the 9pm game.

Not happy about the conflict with NFL playoffs, at all. That being said, of course I will choose the Cuse!

I find it odd that they moved the Monday to Tuesday.

They play 3 games in 3 days in November
They play up to 4 games in 4 days in March conference tourneys.

The players can do back to back.

Im sure there is a rule about not playing back to back days in non-tourneys

TV with the football game, laptop/tablet with the SU game, you're good to go.
I know, just would rather focus on one at a time. I'll figure it out lol

if it was unc or duke they'd play blizzard or not!

Actually, no - they wouldn't.

IIRC, a Duke v. UNC game was cancelled and rescheduled not too long ago, due to weather.
The schools are EIGHT MILES apart.

(to be fair, it's a ten mile drive)

It was due to difficulty of the fans being able to get to the game and back home, not the players.

No doubt there is a rule which makes sense when the schedule is being set.

I am just questioning the lack of a bylaw overriding the rule for such rare situations. Given that the unbalanced schedule already violates the integrity of league standings, I don't think kids playing back to back days once a season is really a problem.
