How the f are we supposed to sleep

Nothing on the Zags board but a bunch of good sports trying to deal with a loss. I love our team's effort, but the Zags had a really good team this year and their offense was almost unstoppable (until the last 5 minutes). Have to tip the hat to Zags in this game ... Sabonis was the real deal. And Kyle W. hit everything but the lunch cart from deep. At this level, every team's going to be hot/talented. Fortunate to come out on top here.
Well at least the unstoppable, zone-busting offense got to 60. Better than most of SU's recent NCAAT opponents have done.

I went on there .. nothing to report .. very good sports about it. Not any hate that I could find. As fans, we should tip our hat to their team ... wow. Sabonis and Kyle W. ... were offensive wrecking machines. Glad we pulled this one out.
I thought Wiltj and Sabonis were good, but holy hell they far exceeded my expectations. Sabonis is gone to the NBA 100% and I do not blame him. Hes got a chance to be a very solid NBA big. Skilled and his shot and post moves will only improve. He moves really well laterally and does well in the PNR situations on defense. I love him as a prospect.

Yea if a Zags fan sees this, I love Few and the program. Few is one of my favorite coaches in all of CBB. Class act and always has a steady and clean team. So fundamentally sound. They are VERY hard to guard M2M

Same here, and if they had won, I probably would have rooted for them to win it all, but it sounds like they have some annoying fans.

one of the few benefits of working at night
but its hard to actually focus on work.

West coast here. Still pumped, drunk, watched the game a second time, watching the post games, wide awake. Unreal players, unreal coaching. Best game we played all year.

Same here. In fact, I hate playing the Zags because I've liked them since the Frohm days. I actually consider them my second favorite team...a vast, distant second, mind you, but I root for them at any opportunity I can.

Wouldn't say best game. More like most beautiful ugly game.

Person who no longer has a day job for various reasons here. Highly erratic sleep patterns for years if not a decade plus being one of the reasons. You guys experience a certain diminution of hormones in middle age, but nothing compared to what we females experience in perimenopause and menopause proper. I could go on at length but will spare you. Except to say, for you married guys and those with female SOs, these conditions can last a very long time. Try to be patient and supportive. See that she gets tests for hormone levels, as they can affect mood to a great degree. Adding soy to her diet can help A LOT to reduce or even eliminate hot flashes, which are a constant battle during bedtime. There are other possibilities if she can't eat soy for medical reasons.

Yeah, I know, this is REALLY getting off topic. But it can potentially be helpful information, especially if your wife/SO has a history of mental illness, and/or it runs in the family, as is my case. Unfortunately many doctors don't connect the dots between all these issues, so women suffer more than they may need to.

Puking two year old fell asleep way too early, will be up in five hours and I'm WIDE AWAKE

This is really fun. Good for you them
time to study the baylor/BG offense waiting for the next game.

When a team is allowed to hack, slap and basically mug anyone without a foul being called it it being called good defense, that is hard to beat. That isn't good defense. It reminds me of the Louisville club a couple years ago. The press and pendants said the defense was stifling when in reality it was foul every time and make the refs call it. Knowing that they won't. That is what happened tonight. Sabonis was hacked just about everytime he got the ball. JP was fouled on that last shot. And yet we were called for numerous touch fouls. I really am proud of our guys. We went further than I thought we would. And honestly, I don't see either of these teams beating Virginia, but it still sucks. We should have won that game and everyone knows it. We lost, Syracuse didn't win.

They remind me of the endless "clutch and grab" posts for eons here after many losses. I suppose we could somehow be better analysts than every other fan base, but I'm not entirely convinced. The refs let a lot go on both ends, and being I was drunk and in a bar, and very biased during the game, it's hard for me to argue either way unless I get to rewatch the game. That's just me though, I am not trying to discount the ability of objective analysis of any of our great board members. In the meantime, I will not look down on the Gonzaga fans for repeating the same behavior I've seen on here for many years.

I thought viagra kept you "up" all night?

Dangit, how is it I miss my chance at a joke by a mere 5 minutes? Right on bro!

Truth be told, as the board witnessed, I was up until noon and took some antihistamines and more booze to help finally knock me out. So I think unlike some politicians, I can honestly say to this thread:

It seems like less folks are having that problem tonight...other than myself and CuseSeattle, who may or may not be sober.
