Well to be fair, rule of thumb is not to field a punt that's going to land inside the 8, and that definitely bounced inside the 10.

i know except it was sort of a line drive. there are rules but it's somewhat instinctual, have to recognize, it was returnable to a degree.

And how often do line drives pop straight up and slowly roll towards the endzone instead of fast hopping out the back? Desir did the right thing. It was a solid punt that got a great bounce.
