So, you're saying 'the university' provided false classes that kept student athletes eligible. Hence, it's not special treatment for athletes only. It's the university providing illegal assistance the kept otherwise ineligible athletes eligible, sponsored by the university and not the athletic department. Wider than just the AD. Full university involvement that allowed athletes to remain eligible.

This is true. I'd be expecting lawsuits if I were UNC. The lawsuits will be backed by civil rights organizations given that most of the students majoring in black studies are black.

The death penalty would not surprise me along with mind numbing revocations of prior wins in a variety of sports including trophies. UNC is not under the Obama/Lynch/Holder protection program. NCAA schools will not let bygones be bygones. They have to be fuming. Their hands were tied as long as the classes were certified. However, THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE.
