OT: Ernie Banks

Everyone knows, or should know, the Jackie Robinson story. But I always felt that the black players that followed him into the Majors in the 50s never got their just due. It wasn't easy for them, either. Banks, Vada Pinson, Frank Robinson, Gibson and others who made the National League dominant in the 60s while the American league was slower to accept black players.
In honor of Mr. Cub, if I am asked to work a second shift today, no problem.

Let's play two today. Bless you Ernie.
Before my baseball hero Cal was even born, you already nailed it. Bless you, and all your family and all you have touched.
