Yep, if we hadn't taken this kid's commitment and he ends up blowing up and going elsewhere, then the staff are morons.
 
Saw good things in his film. Big legs, looks explosive with good feet and vision. Shows he can catch the ball. Great state in terms of talent and competition. I want Moe Neal now. Not as big on Bryant. As a RB yes, but not at the HB position.

SU can recruit whoever they want I will still root for them. Signing day isnt for another 8 months, why not accept this commitment after the two other guys make their decision to see if he is still needed or if we are better off using this ship on a DL or an OL or anywhere else we have deficiencies.

He seems pretty shifty to me and the straight line is because once past the los he's blowing by people.

I also like the fact that he's way heavier than Neal 25 lbs or more. More like bryants size and that makes wonder if this kids in the fold because Bryant didn't commit.

I would surmise the coaching staff have a set calendar/time frame they are operating off of for when they will accept commits depending on where they have them graded. No inside knowledge at all, just my thought...
 
that's a big junior.

Really encouraged by the seeming shift in aims towards recruiting talent. I think the staff is going after the big, fast, tough athletes now instead of the little shifty guys.

Prince Tyson Gulley was super shifty but he would have done better by using his speed to get to the corner.

Gulley wasn't fast enough to get the the corner against ACC teams comsistently, his fault or blocking schemes idk. This kid is faster than Gulley if his 4.4x is legit.

I just rewatched Bryant, Stubbs, and Neal's tapes and Stubbs's tape IMO is better than Bryant's. If we could pull Neal and keep Stubbs committed, I think they could be a great complement to Mr. 44.
 
A 4.46 in the 40... Yeah I'll take this commit all day. When he is evaluated he will probably be a 3 star. Also, very early in recruiting... Watch for some bigger names to come along.

This is not a criticism but an observation. I am among those on here that sing your praises for your hard work and excellent and timely information. However, I visit the Rivals, 247, and Scout sites daily, as I am sure you do. I am confident if you used the Scout data rather than the Rivals rating and dates, you would find higher ratings for almost all of the lower half of the commits above. That said, personally, I find Rivals very slow and as a rule lower ratings of Syracuse commits. As an example, if you visit Rivals at this precise moment, you will find that they list 7 Syracuse commits, when we know it is 9, 10 if you count Gianetti. If you follow them daily, you know this is not an aberration. It is standard performance. You can draw your own conclusions, but once again thank you for your efforts.

I felt they could have waited looking at his other options currently. Thought they were going to take things slow.
