RIP Nate Thurmond

First NBA player to record quadruple double died today at age 74.
Good guy, great player. He stayed in the Bay Area after retiring, owned a restaurant till a few years ago, saw him in the stands in Oakland when his former team (albeit briefly), the Cavs, were taking down the team he played for the vast majority of his career.

Nate was on the same high school team as another late, great Akronite and Hall of Famer, Gus "Honeycomb" Johnson. Two totally opposite personalities, both all-time greats.
