I’m here to tell you it WAS what was said.

I had the opportunity to meet Rob a few years back when he was on our staff.

I after talking for a few min I said to him, “Hey I have a question for you.”
Somehow he knew what I was about to ask (he knew I was an alum and on campus during his era) and he says, “listen I’m not gonna get all into that but just know there were 2 sides to the story”

I laughed and asked how he knew I was going to ask about Poison and he was just like I’ve been through this 1000 times

To me that was confirmation Michael Bivens was taunting him on the track.

But either way It’s a fantastic Syracuse legend

Michael Bivens, the leader of the group, was rumored to have beef with Rob Moore over a girl that went to SU.

supposedly if you listen to a part of the song you could hear Bivens whispering “Rob Moore You’re Dead”

Fwiw Bivens was also wearing a Syracuse jacket on the album cover.
