I watched the movie Blue Chips tonight for probably the 10th time & there's one thing that has just never made any sense to me...why/how did Bobby Hurley ever end up playing PG in an IU jersey? There were obviously numerous player/coach cameos but IU was actually the only non-fictitious school to even be mentioned, let alone portrayed in the entire film. Even Pitino coached a fictitious "Texas Western" school in the beginning. I only took the time to check wikipedia but found nothing useful. My only thought is that Bob Knight, playing himself as IU's coach, refused to appear in the film under any other conditions, but it's still shocking to me that a player as polarizing & ingrained in Duke's basketball lore would ever don another program's jersey, even for a film cameo.
